Built in 1874 as the annex to Cooperstown's posh Hotel Fenimore and fully restored in 1985, The Inn at Cooperstown continues a long tradition of providing genuine hospitality and distinctive accommodations in the heart of Cooperstown, New York. The Inn offers clean, comfortable lodging just a short walk from the National Baseball Hall of Fame, shopping and fine dining. It is centrally located to Cooperstown's many attractions including Glimmerglass Opera, Fenimore Art Museum, The Farmers' Museum, Ommegang Brewery, the Leatherstocking Golf Course and Otsego Lake.
Cooperstown is home to a myriad of attractions. Our award-winning historic hotel is ideally situated to enjoy all that Cooperstown offers. We're just a short walk to one of America's best loved main streets where you'll find unique shops, restaurants and the National Baseball Hall of Fame. It is a brief trolley ride to experience another century at The Farmers' Museum, where exhibits, a recreated village and costumed staff depict life over 150 years ago. Nearby, Fenimore Art Museum displays a premier collection of American Indian art, American paintings and folk art. Beyond the village, you will find Glimmerglass Opera, the Glimmerglass State Park and many other treasures.
Continental Breakfast: Each morning a complimentary breakfast is served between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in our first floor dining rooms. This meal includes juice, coffee or tea, fruit, cereals, freshly-baked goods and toast. With advanced notification, we will try to accommodate special dietary needs.

Each of the 17 guest rooms is tastefully decorated, air-conditioned and has a private bath. Most guest rooms are furnished with either one queen size bed or two twin beds. There are a few accommodations for families of three, or adjoining rooms for larger parties. One lovely suite has many special features including a sitting room with private phone, separate bedroom and a full bath with a tub. Whether you're seeking a romantic get-away or a quiet atmosphere for a business meeting, our professional staff members provide genuine hospitality and personalized attention.
Guest Room Amenities: Soaps, shampoo and lotion are provided in each guest room. Each bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer. An iron and ironing board are provided in most rooms. Every guest room has a CD/clock radio. The air-conditioning system permits each guest to cool the room temperature to their preference.

Check In: Guests are welcome to check in any time between 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. With advance notice, arrangements can be made for a later arrival.
Check Out: Guests are requested to check out of their rooms by 11:00 a.m. In case of a delayed departure, luggage may be left at the office.
Parking: Guest parking is provided in the gravel lot behind The Inn. Parking on Chestnut Street is permitted overnight from April to November. Autos may be left in our lot after check-out should you wish to continue to enjoy Cooperstown.
Smoking: In accordance with New York State law, smoking is prohibited in all public areas of The Inn. Smoking is not allowed in any guest room designated as non-smoking. If you desire a guest room that accommodates smoking, please make your preference known and we will try to honor that request.
Rates include a Continental breakfast.
Each guest room has a private bathroom, air-conditioning, CD/clock radio, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, high speed Internet access.
Reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card or a deposit of one night's lodging. Charges are not processed to your credit card until your departure. Advance deposits must be received within one week of making a reservation.
There is a $25 fee for any cancellation. In the event of a cancellation made less than seven days prior to arrival, your deposit will be forfeited or your credit card will be charged for one night's lodging. Guests with confirmed reservations who do not honor their reservation or who do not call to cancel are responsible for the entire commitment. Group reservation policies differ. |
