Located in central Vermont between Killington and Woodstock, October Country Inn's accommodations include ten guest rooms, two dining rooms, and a cozy living room.
Ours is a unique and beautiful country inn, featuring antique quilts, lace curtains, fresh flowers, and a wonderful potbellied stove. The living room is country living at its best with its comfortable overstuffed furniture, a fireplace at one end, and a piano at the other.
It's elegant in a "farmhouse charm" sort of way.
The October Country Inn is a great place for family reunions and small business meetings -- as well as celebrating special events such as birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, or weddings.
It's also a great destination if all you have in mind is relaxation. In summer, you can spend time at our pool. But if you're up for some adventure, try one of the local swimming or fishing holes. Or rent a bicycle. Birdwatchers love the area. You can play tennis, golf, and squash at local courts and clubs. We are near Killington and Woodstock, which means that you can enjoy hiking -- and, in winter, skiing! Typical of Vermont inns, October Country Inns ten guest rooms are all unique, and each, either alone or in combination, offers several possibilities to meet our guests varied lodging needs.
Most rooms have the original farmhouse wide-plank pine floors, with braided, or woven area rugs. Antique dressers, tables, and beds covered with hand-made quilts or duvet covered down comforters are found throughout. Many rooms have wing back or overstuffed chairs or wooden rockers as well.
Our rates which include hearty country breakfasts and international-themed dinners are excellent, as is our reputation.
MAP (Modified American Plan) includes breakfast and dinner for two.
B&B (Bed and Breakfast) includes breakfast for two.
Although we love our pets, they are not allowed in the Inn. Smoking in the Inn is restricted to our covered porch.

Midweek rates apply Sunday through Thursday, except during holidays or during the Fall foliage.
Fall foliage rates apply from September 15 through October 20.
Room rates are per day, for two, and do not include a 9% Vermont lodging tax.
Because of our limited number of rooms, cancellations significantly affect us. If you must cancel, please notify us as soon as possible. If you cancel less than 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be non-refundable. The full amount of your stay will be charged for departure earlier than specified in the reservation.
Check-in time is between 2:00 and 9:00 p.m, but we can often accommodate earlier check-in. Please let us know if you will be later than 9:00 p.m. Check-out by 11:00 a.m. Rates are subject to change. |
